Biography

Attorney Charles Tannen has practiced law since 1960 and has tried hundreds of jury cases in the fields of Municipal Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law and Appellate Practice.

A Chicago native, Mr. Tannen brings extensive experience and a perspective from both sides of the aisle to his practice at Karlin, Fleisher & Falkenberg. After having practiced Civil, Municipal and Criminal Law for 10 years, Mr. Tannen worked for 18 years representing Yellow Cab and Checker Taxi in defense of lawsuits against the cab company in chancery and criminal litigation.

Mr. Tannen joined the firm in 1989 and has had the privilege and pleasure of managing cases resulting in million and multi-million dollar recoveries for the firm’s clients. Additionally, his Appellate practice for the firm has resulted in the establishment of new law.
